As women, we experience many things in life that are specific to simply being female. Often, they are not talked about or may even be viewed as “problems,” when in fact they are important parts of our lives and development. Some of these issues are:

  • Being a wife, or becoming a divorcee’ or widow
  • Fertility, pregnancy, and miscarriage
  • Challenges of motherhood
  • Body image and eating disorders
  • Hormonal changes and menopause
  • Becoming an empty nester
  • And even life simply not working out the way you thought it would

I know what most of these experiences are like because I have lived through many of them myself. I understand the confusion, pain, loss, and grief of these events as well as the personal growth, enhanced self-understanding, and true joy that emerges from working through these challenging situations and stages of life.
